All is RevealedThis was the last chapter in the House of Crows series。 The four friends return to Merle House and Have wood and we learn what happened to several missing people。 This series had a more psychological bent, hinting at the paranormal。 I figured out the twist early on, so it wasn't as thrilling as I would've hoped。 The audio cast was fantastic。 Dean Koontz does this so much better。 The Nameless series was far better than this。 All is RevealedThis was the last chapter in the House of Crows series。 The four friends return to Merle House and Have wood and we learn what happened to several missing people。 This series had a more psychological bent, hinting at the paranormal。 I figured out the twist early on, so it wasn't as thrilling as I would've hoped。 The audio cast was fantastic。 Dean Koontz does this so much better。 The Nameless series was far better than this。 。。。more

Bravo, Lisa, you’ve done it again!Lisa Unger never disappoints。 I have read most of her books。 She writes about her characters in a way that makes me fell like I truly know them, without droning on and on with unnecessary detail。 That definitely exemplifies skillful writing。 Her knowledge of psychology, both the micro and macro, lend credence to her storylines。 I can never put down her books, until I finish her well thought-out, satisfying endings。 The House of Crow Books were spellbinding。 Brav Bravo, Lisa, you’ve done it again!Lisa Unger never disappoints。 I have read most of her books。 She writes about her characters in a way that makes me fell like I truly know them, without droning on and on with unnecessary detail。 That definitely exemplifies skillful writing。 Her knowledge of psychology, both the micro and macro, lend credence to her storylines。 I can never put down her books, until I finish her well thought-out, satisfying endings。 The House of Crow Books were spellbinding。 Bravo, Lisa, you’ve done it again! ~Erin Jenks 。。。more

Amy,
Excellent books—seems that each was a section of an entire novel。 The characters were well developed and it isn’t until book 4 that I suspected who the Dark Man was manipulating。 Knowing the length of each book drove me to read quickly to pick up the next。
Betsyzel,
Very satisfying A four-part set of novellas that make a book。 Good writing, interesting characters, and psychological horror…my favorite kind。 I recommend these。
Lisa,
Great series, one of the best! The explosive finale of the House of Crows series was creepy, sad and in a way cleansing as it banished all the dark vibes from the first three books and ended with hope。 Great series, better than a much hyped full length I read recently。

Re all four novellas in this set: What a fun read! I love it when I am hooked right away and this set definitely delivered。 Amazing that the author could develop the characters so well with so few words。 The background of the main characters provides a clear picture of how things happening in our childhood inform our adult life, our behaviour, and I felt I understood how those characters ended up in the careers and lifestyles described。 Very interesting how the characters thought about, doubted Re all four novellas in this set: What a fun read! The entire short story collection was great。 I don’t know why this wasn’t just published as an Amazon original story, but maybe because it would have been too long。 I liked the characters and the question of whether the Dark Man was real or not。 The ending of the book though leaves a question of whether time can heal things or not。 I did have to say that the character of Samantha left me with some questions though。Review for story 4: I have to say that I liked the way the book ended。 You get rev The entire short story collection was great。 I don’t know why this wasn’t just published as an Amazon original story, but maybe because it would have been too long。 I liked the characters and the question of whether the Dark Man was real or not。 The ending of the book though leaves a question of whether time can heal things or not。 I did have to say that the character of Samantha left me with some questions though。Review for story 4: I have to say that I liked the way the book ended。 You get reveals。 I liked the whole what is real and not real。 What can cause a house to go "bad"? This delightful gift from author, Lisa Unger, arrived via email on a rainy, gloomy Friday。 In between trips to my basement (doing laundry), I quickly found myself drawn into this suspense filled, spooky tale。 It is a fast read and is sure to keep you on your toes。 The shared experiences that have haunted four childhood friends ends in an almost too pat, fairy tale conclusion。 That ending was the reason I only awarded 4 stars to "House of Crows。" This delightful gift from author, Lisa Unger, arrived via email on a rainy, gloomy Friday。 In between trips to my basement (doing laundry), I quickly found myself drawn into this suspense filled, spooky tale。 It is a fast read and is sure to keep you on your toes。 The shared experiences that have haunted four childhood friends ends in an almost too pat, fairy tale conclusion。 That ending was the reason I only awarded 4 stars to "House of Crows。" 。。。more
